Gen Whiting: 
Keynote address highlights:
  •  US’s inherent advantages: 1) relationships with like-minded space-faring nations, 2) jointness and interagency aspects of USSPACECOM…joint in space and space in the joint service, 3) our commercial aerospace industry is a significant force multiplier
  • The command is currently updating the 2022 Commercial Integration Strategy
  • Wants to remain in competition phase, but if we must, we’ll achieve success in conflict by: 1) ability to operate through a first strike because of the overall resilience of our capabilities, 2) ability to leverage second mover legitimacy, 3) ability to integrate and synchronize joint, allied and commercial capabilities (it’s all about C2), 4) ability to deploy, regenerate and reconstitute capabilities for sustained space operations (in domain logistics), and 5) ability to gain and maintain space superiority.
  • Newly released investment priorities include: integrating space fires, enhanced Battlespace Awareness for space operations, resilient and timeline operational space C2, space systems cyber defense and assured satellite TT
